Q&A

Short answers for fees, privacy, and how the app works. Ways you can lose money — including liquidations — are on Risks.

What does this cost?

Bitfork adds 0.3% on same-chain swaps and 0.5% on cross-chain transfers, on top of the routing provider's own 0.25%. The exact amount is always shown in the quote before you sign. Gas and third-party bridge costs are separate and not ours. An optional tip, if you add one, is included in that same quote. Perps add a 0.03% builder fee on Hyperliquid fills, on top of Hyperliquid's own trading fees.

What do you know about me?

Nothing. No account, no cookies, no analytics. We also publish exactly what every other service in the path does see, including what we cannot protect you from.

Do I need an account?

No. Nothing to sign up for, no KYC, and no email. Connect a wallet when you want to swap or trade. Disconnect whenever you want.

Who holds my funds?

You do. Bitfork never takes custody. Swaps settle through on-chain routes you sign. Perps equity sits in your Hyperliquid perps account, not in a Bitfork wallet.

What is Swap vs Perps?

Swap routes tokens across 60+ chains. Perps lets you long or short Hyperliquid markets from the same site, using USDC margin on Hyperliquid.

How do I fund Perps?

Deposit native USDC from Arbitrum in the Perps tab. Circle CCTP burns that USDC and credits your Hyperliquid perps account. Minimum 5 USDC. Circle takes 0.20 USDC. Funds still in your Arbitrum wallet are not on Hyperliquid yet.

What is Cross vs Isolated?

Isolated: only the margin assigned to that position can be liquidated. Cross: all cross positions share one USDC pool, so a loss on one market can take the others. Bitfork defaults to Cross. Details and more loss cases are on the Risks page.

Can I try without risking money?

Yes. Demo mode uses $10,000 of paper USDC and live prices. Orders are not sent on-chain. It is practice, not a real account.

Is this financial advice?

No. Nothing on Bitfork is a recommendation to buy, sell, or trade. You can lose money, including through liquidation.
